Stonetown, Zanzibar,Friday 24th- Stonetown, Zanzibar,Friday 24th- Organisers of the Shaggy concert in Zanzibar are suggesting that people intending to go to the concert tonight arrive early to avoid
disappointment. Ticket’s for entry to Ngome Kongwe (The Old Fort) tonight have been on sale since Wednesday and are priced at TSH 15,000 for residents and TSH 30,000 for non-residents with V.I.P tickets
selling for TSH 50,000 and exclusive V.I.P at TSH 100,000.
Shaggy will be performing tonight at The Old Fort as part of ZIFF 2011which has brought a fantastic selection of Tanzanian, African and International films to Zanzibar along with workshops with high profile
movie business people and a stellar music and performing arts line-up.
The American super star’s concert is much anticipated and residents and non-residents are looking forward to grooving the night away to his popular Dancehall and reggae influenced sounds.
ZIFF suggest that people arrive early to avoid disappointment and ask attendees to assist management and security by following all procedures and instructions as given to them, to ensure the enjoyment of the concert by everybody. Unsocial behavior will not be tolerated and attendees are being urged to turn up early to avoid
disappointment. Those traveling from the mainland should get an early ferry if possible.. Fire brigade will be in attendance and first aid personnel will be on hand for the duration of the night. Under 18’s
will not be allowed entry.
